About this event
Tropical plants are wonderful for brightening up our indoor spaces, but just because they tolerate the indoors, doesn't mean they wouldn't rather be somewhere warmer, wetter and brighter. But you don't have to turn your home into an actual jungle just to enjoy your begonias.
Join our graduate student Eileen Gahan as she shows you how to make a tropical terrarium of your own to pamper your plants that would otherwise struggle indoors. Eileen will cover how to choose a terrarium, how to set it up and get it read for planting, and she'll show off some cool and easy-to-grow plants that thrive in that sort of environment as well. The weather outside may be frightful, but your new terrarium will be so delightful!
