November Program: "Finding Your Voice: Connecting to Your Intuition Through Abstract Painting" with Heather Eck

About this event

Join us Thursday, November 19, from 6-7:30 pm for Heather Eck's demo and presentation, " Finding Your Voice: Connecting to Your Intuition through Abstract Painting" in the Cary Arts Center.

What do you paint when there’s no subject telling you what to do? In this engaging presentation and live painting demo, Heather will share practical ways to work with color, shape, line, texture, and composition while letting intuition guide your choices. You’ll see an abstract piece evolve from the first mark to the finished work, including what to do when you inevitably think, “I just ruined it!” Whether you’re new to abstraction or want to deepen your practice, you’ll leave with practical tools, a fresh perspective, and greater trust in your artistic voice.
