Join Priya Patil, PhD MPH, Founder of BELOVD Chocolate for a fascinating talk and tasting!

Taste your way through a selection of BELOVD’s small-batch dark chocolate bars, exploring the flavors, aromas, and textures that make each one distinctive. Along the way, founder Priya Patil will share the personal story behind BELOVD, how her daughter’s food allergies shaped the way she thought about ingredients, and how that first homemade chocolate evolved into the brand it is today.

Drawing on more than 20 years in international public health, Priya brings that background to the way she approaches chocolate: looking closely at ingredients, asking why each one is there, and considering what each contributes to the finished bar. She’ll share how choices such as coconut sugar, spirulina, real fruit, spices, and Himalayan pink salt shape BELOVD’s flavor and character, and what she has learned about creating distinctive chocolate while staying true to the ideas that inspired BELOVD from the beginning.
